Simply enter the unique Certificate ID found on your gem report into the search bar on our homepage and click 'Verify'. The system will then display the corresponding gem details and image if the certificate is valid and present in our database.

Upon successful verification, you will typically see details such as the gem's name, carat weight, color, clarity, cut, dimensions, origin, treatment information, report number, and an image of the gem, as provided by the certifying entity (our Admin users).

If your Certificate ID is not found, please double-check that you have entered it correctly. Ensure there are no typos or extra spaces. If you are certain the ID is correct and it's still not found, it might mean the certificate is not yet in our system or is from a source not registered with us. You can contact the original seller or certifying body for more information.

GGIJ acts as a platform to display certificate information provided by our registered Admin users (certifying entities or trusted sellers). While we encourage accuracy, the responsibility for the correctness of the data lies with the uploader. GGIJ itself does not independently verify the physical characteristics of each gem listed.

We take data security seriously. For general users verifying certificates, we only process the Certificate ID you enter. For Admin users who manage certificates, we employ security measures to protect account information and uploaded data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

Only authorized Admin users, typically representing gemological laboratories, trusted jewelers, or gemstone suppliers who provide certificates, can add and manage gem information in our system. This ensures a controlled and more reliable source of data.

GGIJ provides a digital display of the certificate information. We do not issue or mail physical certificates. For physical copies, you would need to contact the original entity that issued the certificate.
